Process Improvement Method
Sponsored by

A process improvement method is any technique that provides for incremental, rapid, bottom-up, performance enhancement of a business process.

A common process improvement method is changing the number of hand-offs in a process, by reducing the number of different parties involved and theoretically reducing time and cost of production.

Occasionally, process changes may be intuitive. However, deciding which process changes should be made is frequently the result of gathering information from techniques, such as interviewing.
