Organizational structure is the reporting and descriptive elements
of relationships between the various workers and stakeholders
in an organization. These vary from traditional, hierarchical, “command
and control” structures, to dynamic, networked structures
that are aligned with processes and outcomes.

A process-driven organization naturally causes the focus to
be on satisfied stakeholders and successful outcomes. This can
occur successfully under a wide variety of organizational structures.
However, process-driven organizations tend to break down inflexible
structures and put place more decision-making power at the source
of activities to increase process speed, efficiency, and effectiveness.
